5K

Prepac 5K is a completely new type of machine from Prepac for erecting and gluing open boxes in corrugated cardboard with or without stacking edge. The machine is adapted for the erection of a format, but is convertible to a variety of box designs and formats.

The machine’s magazine is behind and holds a stack of sheets of 1200mm. The magazine is placed low and can easily be loaded even with heavy sheets. The machine is angled to obtain a low working height when laying sheets, and yet deliver the box high above the floor.
The sheets are pulled out of the tray and fed forward while the glue is applied.
The sheet is raised and the adhesive is pressed as the plunger passes through the molding tools.
All movements that move the sheet are servo driven, which ensures high availability, low energy consumption and high capacity.
The machine is made of stainless steel and details in galvanized steel, aluminum and POM.

Already in the standard version there are a number of functions accessible from an HMI.

Prepac Tray Erector Model 3K2

Model 3K2 is a machine to erect and glue telescope type boxes and folder type boxes and trays made out of corrugated cardboard up to 190mm high.

The magazine is top fed for ease of loading and has a maximum capacity of 400mm of flat blanks. The blank at the bottom of the magazine is moved forward into the machine where glue is applied using hot melt glue gun . The sheet is then formed around a mold and the completed box delivered underneath.

The machine is fabricated with a stainless steel frame and mechanical parts made of aluminum and zinc plated steel. The guards are made from polycarbonate.

The movements of the machine are powered by pneumatic and electrical cylinders and controlled by a Mitsubishi PLC.

The operator control panel makes it simple to make changes and check the status of the process. Examples of its functions are:

  • Weekly clock for programming of glue on/off
  • Statistics: cycle time, production etc.
  • Changing position of gluing
  • Machine status and alarms
  • Handling of how machine reacts to external sensors

Prepac Tray Erector Model 3K2M

Model 3K2 is a machine to erect and glue telescope type boxes and folder type boxes and trays made out of corrugated cardboard up to 190mm high.

The magazine is placed on the back of the machine and has a capacity of 1200mm blanks. The magasin is placed low making it easy to load even big heavy loads of blanks. The blank lifted forward by suction cups into the machine where glue is applied using hot melt glue gun. The sheet is then formed around a mold and the completed box delivered underneath.

The machine is fabricated with a stainless steel frame and mechanical parts made of aluminum and zinc plated steel. The guards are made from polycarbonate.

Model WS is a machine to erect and glue small telescope type boxes and folder type boxes and trays made out of corrugated cardboard up to 80mm high.

The magazine is top fed for ease of loading and has a maximum capacity of 1000mm of flat blanks. The blank at the bottom of the magazine is moved forward into the machine where glue is applied using hot melt glue gun . The sheet is then formed around a mold and the completed box delivered underneath or if stapled sideways.

The machine is fabricated with a steel frame and mechanical parts made of aluminum and zinc plated steel. The guards are made from polycarbonate.

Prepac Traystacker LS

Prepac traystacker is a Machine with works after a 3K machine . The stacker stacks trays making with make the handling easy when not using any conveyorsystem . The machine is made for making one type of box , but are adjustable for a lots of diffrent sizes and types of boxes.

The machine is fabicated in aluminium profiles and mechanical part made out of aluminium, and zinkplated steel. The machine guards are made out of polycarbonte. The movements of the machine is powered by pneumatic lifter and a electrical conveyor.

Normally the machine movments are controlled by the 3K machine but it can also be delivered as a standalone machine.
